How credits work
A credit is a word practised. Credits pay for the practice itself; looking at how your child is doing is always free.
200 credits free when you join
That is about 100 practice words - a couple of weeks of typical practice, or a term for a family who dips in now and then. They stay live as long as your child keeps practising; they lapse after 90 days without a session.

Practice is charged when a session starts, for the words queued. Stop early and the words you never reached are refunded. A child is never stopped mid-word.

Introductory launch pricing. Bought on this website, used anywhere you sign in - phone, tablet or laptop. No subscription, no card on file, nothing that renews. A pack is good for 12 months from the day you buy it; a code from a partner is good for 90 days. Your oldest credits are always used first.

Who pays
Credits come from the account that added the child. If a tutor set your child up on their account, their account covers the practice; if you added your child, your household's credits do. Got a voucher from your school, a tutor, or a Spelling.Live partner? Enter it under Credits & codes in Account settings - voucher credits are valid for 90 days.
